Kira has been a big bunch of energy the last few days....sigh....I *have to* find that kid some dance classes. She has been "balleting" all over the house. "Dance with me, Mommy! Dance like a ballerina!" There's only so much dancing this old dancer-mommy can do anymore. I'm not as light as I used to be, not able to leave the ground so easily. I think I've grown roots. Kira and I spent an hour at All Fired Up! in Carytown, making some new goodies, and picking up the ones we made last Friday. Have I mentioned just how much fun that is? Did a bunch of scrapbooking, some cleaning up of my sewing room, and baked an awesome apple crisp. Yum! I have to start planning our Investiture garb....well, actually, *Balynar* needs Investiture garb. *I* would just like something new and nice that would double as Twelfth Night garb. Don't want to look shabby near my gorgeous husband on the day he gives up that coronet! Too many projects, once again. I hope I get the garb and some household tabards made....there likely won't be time for a 12th Night project for the A&S, but we'll see. Travis is improving. I'm relieved and happy that his pain is less, and his mobility is more. I had to buy him new grip pads for his crutches -- he has worn out the original ones, and his palms are calloused. (Before I forget...Thank you Dave, for the awesome super-fast computer! It's fabulous, and so speedy! Yay! And thank you, my dear Travis, for putting it together and making it work!) Must get organized for Christmas....much planning, shopping, wrapping, baking, crafting, and decorating to do....AFTER Thanksgiving, though. :)
