more herding of cats
I certainly cannot wait for Christmas, if only because it means thngs will start to slow down around here a little bit!
This week and next are packed full of stuff, mostly for Kira, but man! Ice skating, ice show rehearsal, ballet, Brownies....it's a good thing that we are ditching the ice skating (at least temporarily) after the 23rd (the ice show). The high level of activity is completely temporary, and it comes from a juxtaposition of things that all seemed to converge at the same time.
She seems pretty happy about it all, if a bit more tired at the end of the day. Tonight, however, she had an especially active ballet class with lots of jumping, and she is having a hard time settling down to sleep.
Not me. I'm beat. Unfortunatly, I have things to do before I can sit and relax. I have to plan my entire Brownie meeting for tomorrow. I just got off the phone with my co-leader, and she is now on bed rest for her pregnancy. The baby isn't due til April 1. I am now without a co-leader, which we definitely cannot have and still have the troop. Sigh. I certainly hope I can recruit another mom into helping after Christmas.
Travis' tunic is almost done.....I am really looking forward to Saturday.
Must write some Brownie field trip forms and newsletters....
