at the ballet....

Man! It's cold!!! I love it, although our home office (where my computer is located) is freezing, having been a portion of the garage in it's early life. Travis suffers no such problem, since he moved his computer into the living room around the time of his knee surgery. :-P

YAY!! Kira and I are going to see Richmond Ballet's Nutcracker on SUnday! Of course, we're sitting in the left-side nosebleed balcony section, mostly because I couldn't afford the $100 orchestra section, but no matter. Her first trip to see professional ballet will hopefully be an awesome experience anyway. Plus, I really love that theater. Travis will not be going; he does NOT love the seating in that theater, particular since multiple knee surgeries. Watching him squeeeeze himself into the balcony seats is really just painful. Not a lot of legroom, to be sure. People must have been significantly smaller in the 1920's and '30's.

And Nutcracker Sweets Party with the dancers afterward!! I need to get Kira a nice dress and some dress shoes and tights, and a small autograph book or something. I'm so excited!!

There's a bunch of good stuff planned for this weekend....the holiday music has me in the holiday spirit, and the house and tree are all decorated.

I love Christmas!
