...and that's a wrap!....

Night Two of the Holiday on Ice Show is complete. It was much more pleasant this time, as I was much better prepared.

I have my mom with me, for one, which was helpful in that we could tag team for the whole "standing in line for seats" thing, and also for getting snacks and taking pictures of the kids. I managed to snag prime seats right in the front on the end so Travis could sit comfortably and not be crowded.

I remembered to bring a blanket, to stake out my territory on the bleachers.

I even brought my ice skates this time, so that I cold skate after the show with Kira, and also be able to retrieve her off the ice at evening's end. She would *still* be out there skating if I hadn't.

I thanked her coach, Angie, profusely for her hard work and herding of cats. Turns out she's actually a pediatric occupational therapist in real life, so no wonder she was so good with the munchkins!

I also talked with Angie about possible private lessons sometime in the spring for Kira.

Now we are all home, my mom has gone back to Fredericksburg, and aside from some small family drama earlier in the evening, all is peaceful here. Travis is a terrific wonderful man for putting up with the chaos around here. I love him so completely. Thank you babe, for always being here for me.

Now it is bedtime, for tomorrow starts the Santa countdown..............
