Wednesday, Jan. 05, 2005 - 7:59 p.m. half the week done
I keep thinking it's Thursday already, not because this week sucks, but because I have so much to do that I'm afraid the week will end before I can get to it all! The job is going well; each day is a little less chaotic, a little more organized, and the rehab staff seems to like me fine. I haven't had to whip out any 'director of rehab' fu as of yet, which is always a good sign. The Magic 8-ball which I found in the department office has forecast a good day each time I have looked at it. Also a good sign. I am exhausted. My brain is going a million miles a minute, for all the things I want to do, and need to do, and have to remember. Plus, I have too many projects on tap for this weekend's event, but I guess I will just do the best I can and see where I am on Friday night with everything. The new gown will be done, regardless, because all it needs is 22 buttonholes and 22 buttons sewn. I have to hem it, too, but that usually involves turning and topstitching the serged edge on the bottom. Not period by any stretch of the imagination, but durable, and more importantly, fast. I haven't decided if it is better to have a completed project and minimal documentation, or just skip the projects that have little to no documentation to go with them. Anyway, got to get the kid into the tub and to bed, and then try to work on my glass. I added an album of recent gown pictures to the Picture trail site, too. Check it out.
