damn cold
Why am I soooo tired?
I blame work. I think I run from one end of a six (and a half) hour day to the other, constantly moving, talking, thinking, trying to remember things, deal with things, assign things, assess things....whew! I like a job that is challenging and keeps me busy, but MAN! I hope I get organized soon, otherwise I won't make it!
I'm about *this* far from being totally on top of the game....and it's about THIS much too far away for impatient me.
"I want it all now! I want to know everything and understand everything, and keep track of everything....right NOW! I want to be the master of all I survey!"
(well, actually.....my office DOES have several large windows, and *is* situated in the corner of the gym, so I honestly can survey everything that is going on in the department....)
Anyway....Kira had a fabulous time with a sleepover last night involving her best friend Bethanna. They were up til eleven last night, played all day today, and now Kira is in bed, asleep, utterly exhausted. I hope she can get up tomorrow morning for school.
It is mighty cold outside. Bitter, even. I wish it would snow, but since we live in Richmond, with it's Anti-Snow Bubble (tm) around it, we don't see very much of the white stuff. If it's gonna be 15 degrees outside, we should at least have snow wintry weather to show for it! I swear, I almost froze to death walking the dogs this afternoon! You know it's cold when your legs get goosebumps under your jeans. That *never* happens.
I'm glad my new Santa Fe (kinda like Santa _Claus_, but without the presents) has terrific warm lovely heat without too much of a wait. :)
It's freezing in this office, and I'm ready to snuggle in bed.

I forgot to mention....for those interested...Girl Scout cookies are $3.50 a box and they'll be delivered in early March....after the 9th.
