Saturday

Well, I survived another week at my new job. It was a decent day, Friday, although the different aspects of my staff are starting to show themselves. I've had to have 'conversations' with two of them regarding specific points of their work that need modification. One seemed unconcerned by my words, and the other wanted to argue with me. Sigh.
Anyway, the day went fairly well, even though I am just now shaking the headache I have had for the past three days.

The really good news is that I may have gotten half the monument of billing paperwork completely complete. Yay! This is a big deal, because once the charges are in for the second half of the month, and are competely correct, the bill can go out to the facility, etc. Hopefully, after Monday's training session with the staff, the billing for services paperwork will be more correct and I won't have to go thru this nightmare week after week. The paperwork had *better* start being more correct, or heads will roll.

Anyway, my boss is awesome, though. very helpful, and very organized. Thank God for that.

So, today, I am getting my hair cut (just a little), running a few errands, and Kira and I are goign to tackle her mess of a room and try to make some organizational sense out of all of it. I think I need to stop by Staples and get some things to help make labels for bins and organize her magazines and sticker and coloring books.

I also want to knit some more on that poncho, and I *may* have to run by a shop to look for longer needles. I'm not much of a fan of plastic needles, but a few ladies in TNK (that's my knitting group) have the Denise Interchangeable Needle set, and it looks terrific. Every time I start a new project, I need to buy new needles, adn these are basically plastic needles with interchangeable plastic cords for the circular part so you have pretty much all the needles sizes right there. Just about any configuration you need. I may have to investigate that. I love my bamboo and wood needles, but.....

Just what I need, more tools for my myriad of hobbies. ;)

Some glasswork might get done this weekend. I want to make some beads, especially heart shaped ones, and I need to order some ruby red glass rods.

Ok. Off I go....have a great weekend!
