post-university
university was a fun time! It was the inaugural event for my new Santa fe, and I officially LOVE this vehicle! I had plenty of room for all my stuff, it was easy to get in and out of the car, and I had plenty of room left over! Excellent!
My classes went well, and I got some good comments on both of them, which was nice, and made me feel really great. I hung out some with my Laurel at the University registration table, got to see some period-scale knitting done on nickel-plated 0000 needles (crackmonkey crazy!), and I glass-geeked with Alianor all afternoon. Some knitting was done, and I got to chat with a few folks, before heading over to Corby and Thjora's for supper and hanging out. Corby can cook some ribs and smoke a turkey, I tell ya! It was good fun, with excellent food, fun company, and much laughing. I missed my sweetie, though; he wasn't feeling well so he stayed home.
Mmm....caramel-apple cheesecake......(It's bad. You don't want some. No way.).....
I got home around 11, and slept like the dead. Now I am going to lay on the couch and knit.
