Happy Valentine's Day

I had a great day today! I taught two good inservices on the anatomy of the swallowing mechanism and why we use thickened liquids. I had a lot of work caught up from my being in the office on Saturday. My staff were all in today, so no schedule juggling. And no meetings! Perfect!

I ate way too much chocolate, though.

Travis, the wonderful and thoughtful man that he is, gave me not one, but TWO sterling silver cuff bracelets as a Valentine's gift! One has Celtic knots on it, and the other has primitive brass horses. Both are beautiful. He also made the most outstanding pork chops for dinner -- garlic-stuffed and rosemary coated, YUM! -- and is now keeping the munchkin company on the sofa.

My life is just about perfect. :)

We missed Ymir, because of the knee surgery and because I had to work, and it sounds like it was a good time. At least the weather was decent. Congratulations to William and Malcolm on their squiring, and Good Job, Malcolm! in the tourney. Travis will be going to Ice Axe this weekend, I think. My next event looks like KASF, although I have made no arrangements for myself as of yet.
