Okay, who are we kidding? Of course I can say *more* about today....
Another relatively good day, except for some low/difficult/frustrating spots (see above).
I am knocking on all the wood I can find because thus far, I have been able to avoid the Illness of Doom that seems to be plaguing everyone else I know. I know, I know, curse my name and all that. I can't help it that I have decent immune system genes. Rest assured, however, that true to my form, I *will* likely come down with something, and it will probably happen AFTER everyone else has gotten the illness, suffered, recovered, and moved on. I certainly hope whatever it is waits until after March, because I have no sick leave until then.
Knitting is progressing on both the sock, and on the poncho. It's weird to switch back and forth between two projects that have really different needle sizes. I really like the variegated rainbow colored yarn I am using for the sock; it has a nifty way of distributing the color in the finished knitting. And it's not as hard as I thought to use the dpns, just have to figure out how to hold on to them and relax.
I am still considering taking a ballet class for myself.
Anyway, I got a shipment of red glass Moretti rods in the mail today (yay! for getting paid and for glass suppliers on eBay!), and I plan to practice making some really cool red beads tonight.
