Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005 - 9:29 p.m. coughing it up
Tomorrow's Friday, and thank the stars. I feel better today, except for the occasional lung-coming-up hacking that I do. Every once in a while, I feel literally like I am not going to get on the other side of the coughing enough to breathe, and I'm going to go into respiratory arrest. At least I feel better overall, more or less. This worries me, though. It's like a 'calm before the storm' thing, where I feel better, but retain residual 'junk', which a few days from now, will develop into something horrendous, like bronchitis, or pneumonia. Or Type A flu (yes, the kind that can kill ya), which we have one confirmed case of at my facility. Terrific. In other news, I am exhausted. Back to back days of complicated scheduling and lots of public speaking to many types of people has left me drained. And over in hours for the week. My boss is awesome; I am planning to work, oh, maybe three hours tomorrow and take the rest of the day off, since technically, I have enough hours in this week to NOT work tomorrow. I will work til noon, until all the 'daily work' is done, and then I am going to the gym and then home for a nap. After that, I am driving Kira to her dad's and then collapsing on the couch. *coughhackcoughhackcoughhack* I have absolutely no plans for the weekend, beyond a bit of laundry and maybe some glasswork. And I'm going right now to get in some practice time on the couch. *cough*
