new panel for KASF

I've been working like a fiend on the panel I intend to bring to KASF. The painting is done, and so is the cutting and most of the shaping. Now I have to let the paint cure for a day, then bake, then start to lead the piece up. I'll post pictures after the weekend.

I certainly hope no major adjustments need to be made, because Thursday is going to be a late night, getting this thing ready.

Work was ridiculously busy today. I am drained and a bit stressed, and just a bit blue, too.

I blame the weather. We haven't gotten a decent snowfall, and it has been mostly rainy here in Virginia's capital.

Yuck. Although it was sunny this afternoon, it was bitterly cold. I'm ready for some spring.

The gym has been going well, I have actually been looking forward to going, and I'm trying to get into a routine with it. Travis started back to working out last night, and Kira and I hit the pool while he worked with a trainer. I swear, I think my daughter is a fish!

The glass panel is nice-looking, and I am relatively pleased with the job I have done on the faces and the detail painting. I don't do shadowing very well, so I hope it doesn't look too stupid. Anyway, I have to finish my documentation tomorrow night while the pieces bake. I'm planning on bringing a few glass pieces, plus my working tools and my torch. Traveling with Gen and ALan and Thjora should be a lot of fun.

For now, though, I really should go to bed.
