Wednesday, Mar. 02, 2005 - 11:05 p.m. pumping iron....
Went to the gym this evening, after Kira got to bed, which means I'll be awake now for another hours....not good. I haven't started to see any changes yet, from working out, but then again....I've only been at it for two weeks, and I'm almost 35. My metabolism has probably ground to a screeching halt anyway, so I figure it's gonna take at least three times as long to start to see anything change. Sigh. I *have to* get the fat off from around my gut! I hate counting points, but I think I am going to have to. I got on the scale and I have gained a pound and a half in the last 2 weeks. !!!!!!!! (I know, I know, strength training builds muscle, which weighs more than fat). I was stronger and lighter five years ago, so i don't know what I am doing wrong, except that I aged five years. Anyway. I am blue about the whole exercise and weight thing. In other news, the panel for KASF is nearly done. Just leading and soldering tomorrow, after a final bake in the oven. I finished my documentation this evening. While I don't think my docs will win me any accolades, at least I have info lined up the way I want it. Maybe I can print my progress pix for this panel and the smaller panel and display them, too. I am still blue about a few other things, too, none of which I can control right now, so there is no use talking about them. I am reading Dan Brown's Deception Point, and it's getting to a good part, so I have to go read now. And try to get some sleep.
